Why? Because the government can't impose taxes selectively on media. I suppose if Fair were a lawyer or legal scholar rather than an insurance salesman he would know this. Of course, this type of political posturing is designed not to succeed, but to win support among Fair's vicious and small minded religious supporters in Greenville. The danger is that the SC general assembly is stacked with bone head bible freaks just like Fair... thus stupid, short sighted legislation is only one tent revival away from being passed.
